After hectic traffic drive from St.Johns to Begumpet, reached the consulate early and joined the line. Entered the consulate by 10:30AM and after 1 hour of waiting, done with the security check. In no time (I was so tensed at that time) my token was displayed as counter 13.
Young Americans everywhere interviewing people. My VO looked like in late 20's with brown beard and hair with spectacles on, very serious and not even a single smile.
VO: Passport (Asked me while he is interviewing others. Interesting thing is none in my line were rejected. That was a plus point keeping me cool)
Me: A very good morning sir (with a killer smile)
VO: Which university you are heading to?
Me: Western Michigan University sir
VO: What will you be doing there?
Me: i will be obtaining my Masters degree in Electrical Engineering
VO: What's your dad?
Me: He is a businessman sir
VO: What kind of?
Me: He owns a construction company
VO: What's your GRE?
Me: (told)
VO: Any backlogs?
Me: (said, he was looking into my eyes)
VO: Which year passed out and from which university?
Me: 2014 and from JNTU-H
VO: What's your UG project?
Me: (started explaining deeply, meanwhile he tried to interrupt but I couldn't stop and finally golden words came)
VO: I am approving your Visa, have a nice stay in US!
