F1 Visa Interview experience of Vinay Datta at Hyderabad Consulate on 28-5-2015

I am at the consulate at 8:30 am but I am too early as my appointment is on 10 am. Until 9 am roaming in front of Hyderabad Consulate office(my appointment in Hyd) I joined the queue at 9am and I am in by around 9:40 am

after all the formalities I am assigned counter 15. I already know that in counter 15 a black African lady, she is very tough in giving visas

I am at counter 15 at 10:40 am 5 members in a queue before me

1st Person : I don't know him actually but I overheard that is 2013 passed out. his Interview is like this

Vo asked him about his univ. 1sem subjects, May he is going for MBA he said all managerial subjects, Now she asked about" how classes do u have " I was shocked with that question for my surprise That guy said "One"(may be he thought 1 class per weak) VO said are u going to complete the masters in one class sry i am accepting ur visa

2nd Person: This guy also I don't know him, for him also same questions he struggled to answer so he also got rejected. Tension started now

3rd Person: I know him he is Hitesh whom I met him when I am sitting in the lobby. He is 2012 passed out but have a genuine work experience he is going for Univ of Findlay. He rehearsed the answers for some questions with me. He said that he is trying for Us for three years. Here is his experience

vo: which year passed out
Hitesh:2012
Vo: what are u doing since then
hit:working as SE in xyz company
vo: what u like the most in ur job
Hit: he told he want come to India and some this else I don't remember
silence for 1 or 2 min may be vo is checking for company and then she asked any other branches he said no again silence
vo: she asked for funding details and he said
again after a silence she said ur visa is accepted

I got hope again

4th person: a girl I don't know her but she is also sitting beside me in lobby
her visa also approved mean while counter 16 is empty officer in 16 is calling people from 15 a guy behind me went there I know that visa is easily approved in 16 in front of me 5 visas approved in a sequence but I am feared to go to that counter I decided to face that black fat lady

Now My turn

Me : Good morning officer
Vo: Good morning, How are U(Serious face)
Me: Good, Thank U (Tensed)
Vo; Which year passed out?
Me:2014
Vo: What are u doing since then
Me: I worked as a SE in Huawei Technologies Bangalore,
Vo: Sry, Which company
Me: Huawei Technologies(again)
Vo:What do u like the most in ur job
Me: (This question I am fully out of control) Said some thing which even I didn't understand
Vo: What u will after masters
Me: After masters I will come back India and work as senior SE or SA in good MNCS( This is biscuit)
VO:who is funding ur studies
Me: MY parents
Vo: What they do
Me:Said only what they do not the family income I advice u also to do the same

Finally GOLDEN WORDS VISA APPROVED

Me: Thank U

Thank U Guys For reading this Long But short Visa story

My advice: 1.Dont go with fake experience they are verifying it guys
2.Be confident and stand stiff confidence automatically comes
3. Don't worry If ur not Fluent in English this is not IELTS speaking test Here what matters is only ur message should be conveyed to the VO
4.Be Prepared for any counter It is not the vo who decides but its U to decide ur Visa If and only if U have that guts to face
